“With our advanced broadband technology, you can now experience the best action on the internet without the worry of huge telephone bills, and at prices as low as Rs 500 per month.

Assumptions:
I. Now more people will have access to internet.
II. People need to experience the best action on the internet.

a) if only assumption I is implicit.

b) if only assumption II is implicit.

c) if either I or II is implicit.

d) if neither I nor II is implicit.

e) if both I and II are implicit.

Answer: (e)

Purpose of advertisement is aimed at making more people have access to internet.

Hence I is implicit. Advocating for best action on the internet indicates that the speaker must be assuming II.

Statement:
The NDMC is wasting money and valuable resources, asking people to file their property returns by issuing big advertisements.
Assumptions:
I. Nowadays people are not interested in filing their property taxes.

Here both the assumptions are valid. If it were not so, there would be no benefit of setting up such mission.
