From the above table, we see that the two students who are not wearing jeans and are short K and N.

Answer: (d)

The student who is short and is from Nisha palace and wearing a cap is N.

Question : 3

Which tall student of Nisha palace is wearing jeans?

a) O

b) N

c) M

d) L

Answer: (c)

The tall student from Nisha palace who is wearing jeans is M.

Directions:
Read the following passage and answer the questions that follows.

A tennis coach is trying to put together a team of four players for the forthcoming tournament. For this 7 players are available males A, B and C and females W, X, Y and Z. All players have equal capability and atleast 2 males will be there in the team. For a team of four, all players must be able to play with each other. But, B cannot play with W, C cannot play with Z and W cannot play with Y.

If Y is selected and B is rejected, the team will consist of which one of the following groups?

a) A, C, W and Y

b) A, C, X and Y

c) A, C, Y and Z

d) A, W, Y and Z

Answer: (b)

From the questions, it is clear that B is rejected. It means, from among males, A and C must be the part of team as it is given that atleast two males must be there in the team. Now, from the given table, it is clear that if C is selected Z must be rejected. So, Z must not be the part of team. It is also given in question that Y is selected. From the above table, it is clear that if Y is selected W must be rejected. So, from females, X and Y will be the part of the team.

As a result, the team will consist of A, C, X and Y.

Question : 5

If all the three males are selected, then how many combination of four member teams are possible?

a) 1

b) 2

c) 3

d) 4

Answer: (c)

Here, it is given that B is selected. It means that W is rejected and also Y is rejected is given. Now, there are two possibilities of formation of team - ABCX and ABCX. But from the options given ABCX will be the required team.
