Rule 3 and Rule 25,
If C alone completes the work in x days, then
$1/16 + 1/24 + 1/x =1/6$
$1/x = 1/6 - 1/16 - 1/24$
= ${8 - 3 - 2}/48 = 1/16$ ⇒ x = 16 days
Ratio of their remuneration
= $1/16 : 1/24 : 1/16$
= 3 : 2 : 3
A’s remuneration
= $3/8 × 400$ = Rs.150
B’s remuneration
= $2/8 × 400$ = Rs.100
C’s remuneration
= $3/8 × 400$ = Rs.150
