Answer: (c)

Ratio of number of 1 rupee, 50-paise and 25 paise coins

= 8 : 5 : 3

Ratio of their respective values

= $8 : 5/2 : 3/4 = 32 : 10 : 3$

Sum of the ratios

= 32 + 10 + 3 = 45

Value of 50 paise coins

= Rs.$(10/45 × 112.5)$= Rs.25

Number of 50 paise coins

= 25 × 2 = 50
