We have already identified areas where landslides are possible and start evacuation of residents to safer locations.
Answer: (a)
Parallel construction demands 'started', not 'start' with 'we have identified...' Two sentences have been combined with 'and' here: (i) 'we have identified... possible' (ii) '(we have) started evacuation ... locations'.
Though people should be right to protest, it should not be by upsetting the livelihood of others.
Answer: (a)
He complained of being unjustly treatment.
Answer: (c)
'Unjustly' is an adverb meaning 'not in a just manner'. Here it modifies the verb 'treated' ('treatment' is noun).
She intends to sell her furniture before she leaves.
Answer: (d)
After 'intend', an infinitive ('to') is more usual than a gerund (a verb ending in 'ing').
Just when they reach the station, the train had departed.
Answer: (d)
The verb 'reach' has to be in past tense, but with 'when they reached', it would not be correct to say ' had departed.' One correct construction would be 'Just as they reached the station, the train departed.' We can also say, 'Just when they reached the station, the train departed'. But as the second clause here says 'the train had departed', the answer can only be (d). But check this out—'Just as they reached the station, they saw that the train had departed.'
