Introduction & Concept for Verbal Classification Type 2 - Choosing the Odd Pair of Words Out:
This type of concept is similar to the previous topic "Type 1 - Choosing Odd Word Out". If you haven't read yet check the provided link above.
Here in this, Type 2 Classification the group is given with pair of words, then you are asked to find the common property which the pair of words has. Except, one odd pair which does not have the common property with the others. The found pair will be your final answer.
In this Word Classification, you are given a pair of words in which all except one pair is related to one another in a particular manner thus forming a group of pairs. Then you have to identify the odd word pair that does not belong to the pairs group.
Some of these common properties based on word classification in verbal reasoning are given below,
Meaning, Work, Place, Number, Rank, Technology, Situation, Category, Priority, & Area of usage related classification etc.,
Below you will see pair of words in a group. There are four pair of words in each group. One word pair in each group is different from the rest. You must choose which is the odd word pair.
Type 2 Classification - Verbal Reasoning

In this type of classification question, specific pairs of words are given in which all but one of the pairs of words have a specific common relationship. Then you need to understand this relationship and choose the pair where the words are related differently.
