Introduction & Concept for Verbal Classification Type 5 - Choosing the Odd Number/ Numeral Out:
This type of concept is similar to the previous topic "Type 4 - Choosing Odd Pair of Numbers or Group Out". If you haven't read yet check the provided link above.
Here in this, Type 5 Classification the group is given with numbers, then you are asked to find the common property which the group of numbers has. Except, one odd numeral which does not have the common property with the others. The found number will be your final answer.
In this Number Classification, you are given a group of numbers in which all but one number, which are related to each other in a certain manner, thus forming a group of numbers that have the same property. You have to identify an odd number that does not belong to any other number group.
Note that: There is a similarity exists between a given numbers. You need to identify an odd number that do not belong to the group.
The number classification ia generally based on the following similarities:
- Square and Square root of a number,
- Cube and Cube root of a number,
- Even & Odd number,
- Prime & Co-Prime number,
- Factors of number,
- Divisibility test of a number,
- Sum, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division of digits of a number, etc.
Below you will see numerals in a group. There are four/ five numbers in each group. One numeral in each group is different from the rest. You must choose which is the odd numeral out.

- (e) All are divisible by 7 except 65.
- (b) All others are not cube numbers.

- (d) In all the rest numbers, the third digit is the product of first and second digit.
- (d) $(3)^3 + 1 = 28,$
$(4)^3 + 1 = 65,$
$(5)^3 + 1 = 126,$
$(6)^3 + 1 ≠ 215.$ - (d) 83 is the only prime number in the group.
- (c) It does not have '4' in the middle.
- (b) The total no. of digits is seven, others are six.
- (b) The number 441 is a multiple of 3.
