IBPS RRB PO Selection Process 2022:

IBPS RRB PO Selection Process for Probationary Officer consists of 4 stages - Prelims exam, Mains exam, Interview & Provisional Allotment. Here get the key aspects of the selection process.

  • Every candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Prelims Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for Next Online Mains Examination.
  • Then candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of the Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for an interview.
  • Depending on the number of vacancies available, an adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability.
  • Prior to the completion of the Interview Round, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for the interview.
  • Score Calculation - Marks obtained only in the main examination will be considered for shortlisting for interview and final merit list. 

IBPS RRB PO 2022 "Cut-off":

The cut-off for IBPS RRB PO 2022 will be released once the paper for the same has been conducted in the upcoming year or the next phase of selection. The cut-off for Preliminary Exams and Mains Exam will be different. The cut-off marks will be generated both state-wise as well as category-wise.

Cut-off Score (Online Main examination) For IBPS RRB PO MAINS 2022-23

For Officers Scale I - Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test of Online Main Examination to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, adequate number of candidates in each category not exceeding three times of the declared vacancies in each state shall be called for interview, subject to availability. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

"MARKS OBTAINED IN THE ONLINE MAIN EXAMINATION ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR FINAL MERIT LISTING."


List of Documents to be produced at the time of joining:
(as applicable) For IBPS RRB PO MAINS 2022-23

The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies in support of the candidate's eligibility and identity are to be invariably submitted at the time of interview / joining failing which the candidate may not be permitted to appear for the interview. Non submission of requisite documents by the candidate at the time of interview/ joining will debar his candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.

  1. Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter
  2. Valid system generated printout of the online application form registered for CRP RRBs- XI
  3. Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB)
  4. Photo Identity Proof as indicated in Point L of the advertisement
  5. Mark-sheets or certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before 27.06.2022 has to be submitted.
  6. Experience Certificates (as on 27.06.2022) if applicable (Hardcopy/ Digitally signed copy/ Received from Valid email id- subject to verification, of experience certificates will be accepted).
  7. Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by Government of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates. Candidates belonging to OBC category but coming under creamy layer and/ or if their caste does not find place in the Central List are not entitled to OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application form.
  8. Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the Authorities as notified by the Government of India in the prescribed format in the case of EWS category candidates.
  9. Disability certificate in prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board in case of Persons With Disability category If the candidate has used the services of a Scribe at the time of online exam the duly filled in details of the scribe in the prescribed format
  10. For Officers- An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book alongwith pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview. Those who are still in defence service should submit a certificate from a competent authority that they will be relieved from defence services, on or before 26.06.2023. Please note that failure to provide this certificate will result in immediate disqualification. The RRB’s will not be in any position to waive this condition. The Candidates falling in this category are well advised to apply for this certificate at the earliest to avoid disqualification. For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Ex-Servicemen candidates: (i) Candidates who are released/ retired from Armed Forces are required to submit a certificate as per Proforma A. Such Ex-servicemen candidates have to produce a copy of the discharge Certificate / pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of joining. (ii) Candidates who are still in the Armed Forces and desirous of applying under Ex-Servicemen category should submit Proforma B from the Competent Authority showing his/her date of completion of specific period of engagement (SPE) along with the declaration in Proforma C. Such candidates whose SPE is completed on or before 26.06.2023 are eligible to apply. Such candidates have to submit a release letter and a self-declaration from the candidate that he/ she is entitled to benefits admissible to Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. of India rules (iii) Those candidates who have completed their initial period of assignment and who are on extended assignment are required to submit the certificate as per Proforma D. (iv) Dependents of Servicemen killed in action or those who have been severely disabled have to produce satisfactory documentary proof showing that they are Dependents of Servicemen killed in action or severely disabled and an affidavit stating that the relaxation is availed by one dependent of Ex-Servicemen or not availed by any Dependent of Servicemen killed in action or severely disabled.
  11. Candidates serving in Government / quasi govt. offices/ Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” in original from their employer, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered and travelling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid. The No Objection Certificate should not be issued for appearing in interview for selection to any particular Regional Rural Bank as the Common Recruitment Process is for all RRBs. Production of such conditional NOCs at the time of interview will not be considered and such candidates will not be permitted to participate in interview/will not be considered for further selection process.
  12. Persons eligible for age relaxation under II (6) must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate to the effect that they are eligible for relief in terms of the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected Persons sanctioned by the Government and communicated vide Ministry of Finance, Dept. of Financial Services communication No.F.No.9/21/2006-IR dated 27.07.2007
  13. Persons falling in categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Point B (I) should produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. Of India
  14. Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility
