Questions : Dinesh and Ramesh start together from a certain point in the opposite direction on motorcycles. The speed of Dinesh is 60 km per hour and of Ramesh is 44 km per hour. What will be the distance between them after 15 minutes?

(a) 24 km

(b) 30 km

(c) 20 km

(d) 26 km

The correct answers to the above question in:

Answer: (d)

Dinesh covered in 15 minutes

= 60 x $15/60$ = 15 km

Ramesh covered in 15 minutes

= 44 x $15/60$ = 11 km

Dinesh and Ramesh will be (15 + 11) km

= 26 km away from each other after 15 minutes.

A'B' = A'F+FB'

FB’= AB – (AC + BD + OD)
