c) 3

a) 1

b) 2

c) 3

d) 4

Answer: (d)

The error is in the fourth part of the sentence.

We need to replace 'poor' with 'the poor'. We need the object of the verb 'help' which will be a noun.

'Poor' is an adjective used to refer to those lacking sufficient money to live at a standard considered comfortable or normal in a society. 'The poor' acts as a noun and is used to refer to poor people.

So, the correct answer is option D.
