What is "Adverbs"?
An Adverb is a word or phrase that has to modifies or qualifies,
- an adjective,
- verb, or
- another adverb, or
- a preposition, or
- a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc.
Some adverbs commonly used to express this are;
quickly, quietly, blissfully, fast, slowly, immediately, simultaneously, loudly, angrily, carefully, eagerly, easily, blindly, energetically, happily, slowly, wistfully, abnormally, absentmindedly, actually, adventurously, briskly, afterwards, almost, always, annually, anxiously, arrogantly, awkwardly, bashfully, beautifully, bitterly bleakly, boastfully, accidentally, boldly, bravely, briefly, brightly, broadly, busily calmly, carelessly, carefully, certainly, cautiously cheerfully, clearly etc.
Examples:
- a verb (She sings loudly),
- an adjective (Very large),
- another adverb (ended too quickly), or
- even a whole sentence (Luckily, I escaped unhurt.).

According to their use, adverbs are subdivided into three classes:
- Simple Adverbs,
