How Spelling Test types of questions are asked in various competitive exams?
In the General English section of any competitive exams approximately there will be two or three questions regarding the Spelling.
Basically, there are two types of Spelling Test MCQs, These two types are based on the given four options,
Type 1: You are asked to find the correctly spelt word from the given four options, Where option only one option will be correctly spelt remaining three options will be wrongly-spelt.

c) iminent d) tolerent
Answer: (b)
The correctly spelt word is jubilant.
The correct spellings of the other words are ebullient, imminent, tolerant.
Example 2: Find the correctly spelt word? (Odd one out)
a) malignant b) impertinant
c) independant d) neglegent
Answer: (a)
The correctly spelt word is malignant.
The correct spellings of the other words are impertinent, independent, negligent
Type 2: You are asked to find the misspelt word from the given four options, Where option only one option will be wrongly spelt remaining three options will be correctly-spelt.

Example 1: Find that misspelt word? (Odd one out)
a) generosity b) possibility
c) oppertunity d) responsibility
Answer: (c)
The misspelt word is oppertunity.
The correct spelling is opportunity.
Example 2: Find that misspelt word? (Odd one out)

c) admitted d) submitted
Answer: (b)
The misspelt word is comitted.
