a) 108
b) 84 m
c) 78 m
d) 112 m
e) None of these
Answer »Answer: (b)
Let r meter be the radius of circular field C, then
Area of circular field C × 10 = 3465
⇒ πr 2 × 10 = 3465
⇒ r 2 = $441/4$
⇒ r = $21/2$ m
Side of square field S = 2 × r = 21m
Perimeter of square field = 4 × 21 = 84 meters
Question : 3

According to the question:
Present age of A and C:
A + C = 40 ............(i)
After 4 years, sum of ages of A and B will be 16 years more than the sum of the present ages of B and C.
A + 4 + B + 4 = B + C + 16
A - C = 8 ............(ii)
