Let his monthly salary = 100x, then
Expense on rent = 20x
Expense on other expenses = 40% of (100 – 20)x
= 40% of 80x = 32x
According to question,
32x ≡ Rs. 9600

Hence, his expenditure on hours rent = 20x
⇒20 × Rs. 300
⇒ Rs. 6000.

= $√196$
= 14 cm
⇒ Side of the square = 2 × Radius

= 4 × 28 = 112 cm.
