Question : 2

Find the appropriate word in each case.

a) Little

b) Actual

c) Spirit

d) Long

e) Sure

Answer: (a)

Given the context of the sentence, it describes a certain quality of a girl. Hence, we must use an adjective.
Option C is invalid.
In case of option B, long is used to measure a great distance from end to end.
It does not fit here.

The word 'actual' means real. It does not fit in contextually.
The word 'sure' means to be confident about being right. It also does not fit contextually.
The only word which makes sense here is 'little', which means: young.
So the correct answer is A.
