Combined Civil Services Examination II - Interview Posts / Non-Interview Posts (MAINS Exam Pattern), 2022

TNPSC GROUP 2 & GROUP 2A MAINS WRITTEN EXAMINATION 2022
For Both Interview & Non-Interview Posts

The selected candidates who pass the preliminary examination of TNPSC G2 & 2A only will appear for the main examination. In this Mains exam based upon the latest notification, the syllabus contains Papers I & II which will be explained below.

In this main examination, the minimum qualifying marks for all communities will only differ between Interview Post & Non-Interview Post and as usual mains syllabus is the same for both Interview Post & Non-Interview Posts.

Here we have provided the main highlight of the TNPSC Group 2 Prelims exam. First, we will see the exam pattern for candidates who are appearing for Interview posts of TNPSC GROUP 2 & 2A 2022 Examination.

TNPSC GROUP 2 & 2A 2022 MAINS EXAM PATTERN
For Interview Posts

Important Note:

1. Answer sheets of the candidates who do not secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I will not be considered for the evaluation of Paper-II.
2. Paper-II has to be answered fully in Tamil or English alone.
3. Marks secured in Paper-II alone will be considered for selection.

For Interview Posts:

• Main Written Examination: 300 Marks
• Oral Test: 40 Marks
• Total Marks: 300+40 = 340 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks for all Communities: 102 out of 340.

Let's discuss the next mains exam pattern for Non-Interview post of TNPSC G2 & 2A 2022 examination. Mostly same as interview post there will be one & slight difference from the previous. Read the following

TNPSC GROUP 2 & 2A 2022 MAINS EXAM PATTERN
For Non-Interview Posts

Important Note:

1. Answer sheets of the candidates who do not secure minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I will not be considered for the evaluation of Paper-II.
2. Paper-II has to be answered fully in Tamil or English alone.
3. Marks secured in Paper-II alone will be considered for selection.

For Non-Interview Posts:

• Main Written Examination: 300 Marks
• No Oral Test
• Total Marks: 300 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks for all Communities: 90 out of 300

The important difference is there will be no interview for these posts. So, Qualification marks will be only 90 Marks in Paper-II.
