= $(4 - x) × 1/4 + x = 1 - x/4 + x$
= ${4 - x +4x}/4 = {4 + 3x}/4$
$3/4(4 - x) = {4 + 3x}/4$
$3 - {3x}/4 = 1 + {3x}/4$
$2 = {6x}/4$
$x = {2 × 4}/6 = 4/3$
Required answer
= ${4/3}/4 = 1/3$
