Answer: (b)

Look at the sentence He was elected (as) MP for Oxford East.

Hence, it is not proper to use ‘as’ here.

c) with such opportunities.

d) No error

Answer: (c)

Make use of somebody/something = to use something/ somebody, especially in order to get an advantage.

Hence, of such opportunities ...... should be used here.

b) that such a trick

c) is discovered.

d) No error

Answer: (c)

The sentence is in indirect speech and reporting verb is in past tense.

Hence, past tense i.e. was discovered ..... should be used here.

Question : 15

I saw his / unbelievably really quite / delightful cottage.

a) I saw his

b) unbelievably really quite

c) delightful cottage.

d) No error

Answer: (b)

It is an error of triple adverbs.

Hence, unbelievable and really/really unbelievable and quite ...... should be used here.
